About Molly and Hulda

Molly (12) and Hulda (6 ) are two friendly deerhounds living in Haugesund, on the westcoast of Norway.

Like all deer-hounds they love to run. They have created their own hunting-game. In lack of a real deer Hulda plays the role as game, and Molly plays the hunter. Hulda teases Molly to hunt her and when Hulda is running off like mad, Molly stands still to watch her wear her self out. Then Molly hunts her down. Easy :-)! They love this game and the play it over and over again. They also like to run in our garden and they go crazy running close up to the trees. Scary! They also get a big "kick" when they get sand between their toes.

Molly hates rain. Hulda doesn't mind. Hulda has a bit more substans (46 kg!) and can take the rain a bit easier. They both try to use humans as towels when they get wet :-). Both of them likes an open fire in the wintertime. Molly almost stays inside the fireplace! It is almost impossible to feel the heat having to deerhounds blocking the fire.

They are not hardworking dogs, although they walk to the office every day :-). At work they seem to think that to have a 7 1/2 hour sleep is the best way to beauty. Hulda and Molly are simply the kindest and most gentle deerhounds in the world.
